Sudhir Sharma
Sudhir Sharma is leading designer and brand consultant in India. As Creative and Chief executive of INDI Design his projects have shaped the Design industry in India. He is also the Publisher and Editor in Chief of the Pool Magazine, India’s first magazine focused on Design, Innovation and Creative sectors.
He was on the jury panel at the Cannes Lions for Design, at Adfest in Pattya, at Design Turkey, and at Dutch Design Awards. An alumnus of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Global Council for Design and Sudhir is a member of the first India Design Council.
Founder and Chief executive of INDI Design Sudhir has over two decade veteran of design and travels extensively in India and abroad sharing his expertise with the gen next who are stepping into his field. He sits on the various design, innovation and management Council Boards and Institutions.
Sudhir was awarded with the Most Promising Entrepreneurship of the Year 2009 by APEA for his contributions in India’s design business industry.
Prior to founding INDI, Sudhir founded Elephant Design. As its CEO he lead Elephant to grow into India’s largest and finest Strategic Design Company.
He is the Publisher and Editor in Chief of the POOL Magazine. POOL is India’s first magazine focussed on Design, Innovation and Creative sectors.
Sudhir is a founder and President of the “Designindia”; an online community of professional designers in India. Designindia has partnered with Rebrand 100, Fine Arts College, Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) Visual Information Design Association of Korea (VIDAK), Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), National Institute of Design (NID) for various events over the years.
Sudhir holds a graduate degree in Visual Communication Design (batch of 1983) from the National Institute of Design (NID).
He is a member of the first India Design Council, constituted by the government of India, and is member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Global Council for Design.
